The First Tee of Siouxland is a youth development organization that teaches life skills and healthy habits through the game of golf.
Our chapter of The First Tee was founded in 2016 as a non-profit entity of The Siouxland Youth Golf Association and serves youth in Woodbury and Plymouth Counties in Iowa, and Dakota, Dixon, and Thurston Counties in Nebraska.
Since our inception we have impacted the lives of over 7,000 youth of Siouxland through our summer certification program, National School Program, and community outreach. No child is ever turned away due to the inability to pay. Scholarships are available to those unable to afford the cost of the summer program.
The First Tee of Siouxland currently operates at three facilities in Woodbury County. Sun Valley Golf Course is a privately owned facility and Green Valley and Floyd Park Golf Courses are owned and operated by the City of Sioux City.
In order to serve more youth, The First Tee of Siouxland will be adding additional courses in the next couple of years.
To engage the community in growing the identity of The First Tee of Siouxland with the goal of being recognized as a premier youth development organization in Siouxland.
